Italian Summer at Fleurish Greenhouse in Taylorsville, North Carolina
There are some wedding venues that immediately make you start imagining a wedding day—and Fleurish Greenhouse in Taylorsville, North Carolina is one of them.
I recently had the opportunity to photograph an Italian summer-inspired event at Fleurish, and the entire day felt like a little escape from North Carolina. Think warm sunshine, white linen, fresh flowers, Aperol, beautiful glassware, wood-fired pizza, and an incredible greenhouse surrounded by gardens.
And honestly, after photographing this event, I would absolutely love to photograph a wedding here.
Fleurish Greenhouse is located in Taylorsville, North Carolina, tucked away from the busier parts of the state. It isn't necessarily the kind of venue you stumble across while driving around town, but that's part of what makes it feel so special.
It feels like you've arrived somewhere completely different.
The white greenhouse is surrounded by greenery, flowers, gravel paths, gardens, and outdoor spaces that give you plenty of variety for photographs. The architecture itself is beautiful—white wood, large windows, glass doors, and a pitched glass roof that lets in an incredible amount of natural light.
For a photographer, there are so many details to work with.
I would love to photograph a wedding at Fleurish
After photographing this event, Fleurish Greenhouse is officially on my list of North Carolina wedding venues I'd love to photograph.
It's a little bit of a drive if you're coming from Winston-Salem or Charlotte, but I think that's part of the appeal. Once you arrive, it feels removed from everything else.
If you're planning a wedding and want something that feels intimate, beautiful, relaxed, and a little different from the typical North Carolina wedding venue, I would definitely put Fleurish on your list to visit.
You can see more of the venue and their events on Fleurish Greenhouse's Instagram.
And if you're planning a wedding at Fleurish—or dreaming about an Italian-summer-inspired wedding somewhere in North Carolina—I would love to photograph it.
